Accessibility

Accessibility isn’t one-size-fits-all. Needs can be physical, sensory, cognitive, financial, or emotional, and they can change over time. Inspire Me Melbourne is committed to offering services that are inclusive, adaptable, transparent, and collaborative.

Rach is passionate about ensuring that finances are never a barrier to support. All pricing has been thoughtfully set with this in mind. Free taster sessions, bulk-billed options, concession rates, and discounted fees for financial hardship are available.

Rach knows from personal experience that capacity and accessibility needs fluctuate. You’re encouraged to show up exactly as you are, and to do or ask for anything that helps you feel more authentic, comfortable, and supported during sessions.

Online Support (Australia-Wide)

All online support is delivered via Zoom. Sessions are flexible and can be adapted to your energy and comfort levels on the day. You can:

  • Have your camera on or off

  • Speak verbally or via the chat function

  • Use emojis, the raise hand function, or the digital whiteboard

In-Person Support (Melbourne)

For people living in Melbourne, in-person support can be arranged if this is agreed upon as suitable during a virtual session. Rach can come to your home, meet you in the community, or host you in their own sensory-friendly apartment in Coburg.

The Coburg Space

Rach’s apartment has been designed with comfort and sensory needs in mind. It includes:

  • Intercom and elevator access

  • Natural and lamp lighting

  • A large and very soft memory foam floor rug

  • Comfy couches and beanbags

  • A whiteboard for brainstorming

  • Lots of fidget toys and self-soothing items

  • A small friendly dog named Kaifu

There is also water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, and flavoured milk available to drink.

You’re welcome to wear whatever feels comfortable, to take your shoes off, and to move around, stim, fidget, or engage in other forms of regulation that help you feel grounded.

Eye contact is optional, and if it helps you to ease into the space, we can play a game, do some colouring, or simply sit quietly together.

Authenticity

As a neurodivergent person, Rach embraces authentic expression both for themselves and others. They may move around, avoid eye contact, and fidget with things too. If any of these behaviours feel distressing for you, please let Rach know, as they value open communication and want to ensure that every session feels safe, comfortable, and supportive.

Tears and other expressions of emotion are also very welcome. Rach is experienced in holding space for big thoughts and feelings. You don’t need to mask or hide parts of yourself. You’re encouraged to show up as your fully authentic self.

If there’s anything you need to make a session more accessible, please reach out. Rach is always open to learning and adapting.
