Meet Rach

As someone walking through many of the challenges they also support others to navigate, Rach knows that reaching out for help takes courage. Guided by both professional and lived experience, Rach brings warmth, authenticity, and compassion to every conversation. Their gentle approach helps people feel safe, seen, hopeful, and empowered to take small steps forward at their own pace.

Rach is a social worker with many years of experience in the mental health field. They also have their own lived and living experience with situational, neurodivergent, and mental health difficulties. Rach was drawn to this work out of a desire to use their own experiences and insights to come alongside and support others.

Having extensive experience with the mental health system, both as a practitioner and someone receiving support, Rach has seen how different approaches can shape recovery. Clinical frameworks can offer structure, insight, and guidance, while lived experience approaches bring connection, understanding, and empowerment.

Rach created Inspire Me Melbourne to integrate these perspectives, combining the best elements of clinical and lived experience approaches to provide holistic support that recognises the complexity of being human.
